PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Loke Asgard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Muchacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Loke Asgard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ivan Muchacho!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice combination there by Muchacho.
Muchacho lands with a nice body punch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Asgard just misses with a punch to the body.
Asgard misses with a jab to the body
and Muchacho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Muchacho lets loose with a powerful body kick. Asgard will feel that in the morning.
Muchacho stuffs the takedown attempt from Asgard. Asgard gets slowly back to his feet.
Asgard is breathing heavily.

Muchacho shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Asgard napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Muchacho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Asgard keeps working.

Muchacho thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Asgard is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Muchacho off and has taken his back!
Asgard is trying to stick to Muchacho's back but Muchacho is turning into Asgard. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Asgard's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Muchacho.
Muchacho in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Muchacho is working Asgard over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Muchacho's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Muchacho postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Muchacho with a flurry of punches that miss.
Muchacho postures up in Asgard's guard and throws a big left but Asgard blocks it.
Asgard might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Asgard has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Muchacho can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Muchacho stands and throws Asgard's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Asgard knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Muchacho on the ground.

Muchacho is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Asgard is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Muchacho has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Muchacho wants to lay and pray for a moment but Asgard keeps working.
Muchacho lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Asgard down.

Muchacho in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Asgard is not content to let Muchacho control the position.
Muchacho lands a few punches from side control.
You can see the frustration on Asgard's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Asgard takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Asgard on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Asgard is rocked!

Oh Asgard is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Muchacho scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Asgard is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Muchacho can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
