Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Zach Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinji Kurokami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Striker comes to the cage accompanied by Adrenaline- 12 Stones. Kurokami is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Hekireki. Zach Striker could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Shinji Kurokami's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kurokami swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Striker fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Kurokami stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kurokami wants it to stay on the feet.
Zach Striker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Striker tries to clinch there but Kurokami circles away.

Striker really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Striker rushes Kurokami and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Kurokami escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Striker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Striker gets to his feet - Kurokami follows without any prompting.
Striker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kurokami but Kurokami pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zach Striker. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Striker tries to clinch there but Kurokami circles away.

Kurokami gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Striker has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kurokami gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Striker.

Striker pushes off an throws an elbow but Kurokami leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Kurokami lands an elbow inside that Striker shrugs off.

It looks like Zach Striker has been cut.

Kurokami gets a trip takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Striker wants to control but Kurokami is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Striker tries to get to full guard but Kurokami has control of the leg.

Striker wants to get back to full guard.
Striker is breathing heavily.
Striker is working hard here to advance position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Striker is desperately trying to improve his position but Kurokami has a good base and remains in mount.

Kurokami is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Kurokami extends the arm and Striker is forced to tap!
