Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wilhelm Qk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ace shottas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wilhelm Qk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, ace shottas!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Qk shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. shottas defends it nicely.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Qk is defended easily by shottas.

shottas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
shottas trying to control the action but Qk is working from the bottom.
shottas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Qk. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Qk makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Qk.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
shottas wants to control from the top but Qk keeps moving.
shottas controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Qk is trying to keep shottas in close.

Qk is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
shottas trying to control the position from guard on top but Qk is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Qk controls shottas momentarily but shottas frees himself.
shottas wants to control from the top but Qk keeps moving.
Qk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in shottas's guard.

shottas had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Qk is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. shottas Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Qk's back instead.
Qk rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Qk is breathing heavily.
Qk tries to get to full guard but shottas has control of the leg.

shottas is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Qk has managed to free his arm - good work.

shottas seems to be looking for submissions.

shottas has gone for a leg lock! Qk slips out almost immediately though and dives into shottas's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Wilhelm Qk will probably get the nod.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

ace shottas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Qk with a poor takedown

shottas jumps guard and drags Qk to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
shottas lands a couple of elbows.

shottas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and shottas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

shottas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Qk wants to sweep but no luck.

ace shottas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well shottas has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
