Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Panda Floor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beanie Braids (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Floor comes into the arena with Fed Up blaring out of the sound system. Braids comes into a darkened arena with his song building. I Made It" (Cash Money Heroes) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Panda Floor!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Beanie Braids!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braids avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Braids looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Braids misses with a two punch combination.

Floor shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Braids can do anything to dispel that myth.

Floor is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Braids has managed to free his arm - good work.
Braids is trying to maintain the position but Floor is very close to passing his half guard.

Braids is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
It looks like Floor is going to stand back up.
Braids tries to kick Floor off but Floor keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Floor stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Floor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Floor tries for a takedown but Braids sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Braids tries to bum rush Floor with a series of wild strikes but Floor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A nice inside leg kick there by Floor. That's going to slow Braids down.
Floor looks to score with a jab to the body but Braids is just out of range.
Braids moves in looking to clinch but Floor pushes him off.
Floor lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Braids changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Floor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Braids trying to control the position but Floor is working away.
Floor pushes Braids away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Braids gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Floor is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Floor is letting Braids control him for a moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Floor misses with a head kick.

That was a close round but I would say that Panda Floor will probably get the nod.
That's time! Floor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Braids decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Floor wants to get back to his feet.

Floor looking for submissions off his back.
Floor is looking to improve his position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Braids prevents Floor from standing back up.

Floor actively working from the bottom here.
Braids stops Floor from getting back to his feet.
Well, if Braids is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Braids stalling away here and it's allowed Floor to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Braids just misses with a punch to the body.
Braids blocks a head kick by Floor.
Floor closes the distance but Braids moves to the side

and Braids counters with a takedown into side control.
Braids cracks Floor with a big elbow.

Floor wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Braids blocks the strikes from Floor.
Braids trying to control the position but Floor is working away.

Braids decides to stand back up. Braids steps back and let's Floor get back to his feet.
Floor lands a nice looking kick to the body. Braids takes a step back to recover.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
No luck for Floor with that takedown attempt.
Panda Floor is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Braids counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Braids.
Braids works on Floor's body with a couple of short punches.
Floor taking a breather.
Floor tries to throw a body punch but Braids avoids it by throwing Floor back against the cage.

Beanie Braids showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Braids stops Floor from getting back to his feet.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Floor is looking to escape.

Braids looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Floor is looking for a sweep. Braids is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Braids wants to stand but Floor has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
Braids is keen to just control but Floor is a slippery customer.

Floor looking for submissions off his back.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Braids looks for a takedown but Floor sprawls well.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Floor manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Floor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Braids defends well.

Braids decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Floor misses with a wild combination.

Braids closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Floor is staying active underneath Braids, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Braids wants to take a breather but Floor is having none of it.
Braids works his foot free and advances to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Floor wants to stand and escape but Braids is having none of it.

Braids got a little sloppy there for a moment and Floor has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Braids has managed to get both his arms back between Floor's legs - danger averted.
Braids controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Floor is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Braids defends well.

Floor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Braids must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Floor is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Braids is aware though and is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Braids's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Floor really wants to buck Braids off and get back to his feet.
Both of our modern day gladiators look out of it here - an gruelling 5 rounds of action taking it's toll on them, no doubt.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Floor tries to reverse the position but Braids maintains control.
Braids controlling the position easily from mount.

Despite being in the dominant position, Beanie Braids just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Floor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Braids manages to avoid it.
Floor tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Braids cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

and Braids counters by clinching up.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Panda Floor. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Braids scores with a hook to the body.
Floor blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Floor is trying to stall.
Floor tries to break free but Braids pushes him back against the ropes.
Braids has Floor pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Floor manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Floor has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Braids clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Braids manages to reverse the position and now he's in Floor's guard. Nice work there by Braids.

Panda Floor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Braids is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Floor throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Beanie Braids comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Braids has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
