Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ishi Kiki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Bane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Bane!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiki throws a right and a left that Bane avoids nicely.
Kiki fails to land with a series of punches.

Nice uppercut lands for Kiki. That snapped Bane's head back.

Kiki has his foot on Bane's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bane works his way back into a safe position though.

Kiki has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Bane is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Kiki is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Kiki has escaped and now he's on top!

Kiki drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bane manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kiki has Bane in his guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kiki lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bane!

Kiki has control of Bane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bane regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Kiki swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bane is now in Kiki's guard. A big mistake from Kiki there, giving up the dominant position!

Kiki escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bane gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Kiki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bane manages to get himself to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kiki wants to clinch up but Bane keeps it at a distance.
Kiki misses with a series of wild punches.
Kiki lands with a hook. Bane tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Bane takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Kiki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kiki looks to land a right hand but Bane moved out of range.
Kiki lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Bane bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Bane throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Kiki blocks it with crossed arms.

Bane ducks right into an uppercut from Kiki.
Kiki lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Donk. Kiki catches Bane right on the button with a cross.
Bane uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kiki.
Kiki smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bane shoots in but no luck this time.
Kiki lands a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kiki clinches up with Bane and pushes him back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kiki creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Bane on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ishi Kiki is winning the standup battle so far.
Kiki closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Bane! Kiki dives in looking to finish! Bane is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
