Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Arsene Wenger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Dover (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dover is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Dodsferd - Dimmu Borgir. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dover looks to throw the jab but Wenger is out of range.
Wenger is looking to clinch but Dover is avoiding it.
Dover misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Wenger.
Wenger tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Dover bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dover throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Dover throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wenger lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Wenger.

and Wenger counters with a takedown into side control.

Wenger working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Dover is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wenger.
Dover rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Wenger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Wenger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dover looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dover looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dover!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wenger is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Wenger gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

Dover is tying to control. Wenger wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Dover wants to get back to his feet.
Dover is trying to control the action in half guard but Wenger is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Wenger slips a jab from Dover.
Dover misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wenger shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wenger is pressing down on Dover's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dover is holding on for now.

Dover is trying to maintain the position but Wenger is very close to passing his half guard.

Dover tries to kick Wenger off but Wenger keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Dover really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wenger. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Wenger works his foot free and advances to mount.

Wenger manages to capitalize on a mistake by Dover to take his back!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wenger wants to control but Dover is keeping busy.
Dover is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Arsene Wenger dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and Wenger counters with a single leg into guard. Dover didn't expect that.
Dover is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Dover wants to stand and escape but Wenger is having none of it.
Wenger is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Dover is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Dover has escaped and now he's on top!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wenger had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dover is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wenger Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dover's back instead.

Dover tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Dover is squirming around, avoiding Wenger's attempts to control the action.

Dover sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Wenger seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Dover does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
