The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pound pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martin stalks Pound and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Pound's face. Pound staggers backwards, shaken.
Ezra Pound seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Martin throws a series of strikes that have Pound backpedaling.
Martin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pound.

Martin throws a series of punches but Pound moves out of range.

Martin moves out of range as Pound throws a body kick.
Martin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pound. Pound obviously looking to wear him down.

Martin lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Martin pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Martin tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Pound keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Pound is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Pound cracks the inside of Martin's front leg.
Pound changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Martin tries to avoid it but Pound manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Martin to the ground. Martin escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Pound closes the distance and clinches.
Pound unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Pound stalling in the clinch but Martin improves position.
Pound lands an elbow inside.
Pound prevents Martin from breaking the clinch.

Martin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Pound doesn't defend quickly enough and Martin has managed to lock this one up! Can Pound escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Martin on a fantastic submission victory.
