Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pikonu closes the distance and clinches up with Hanes, looking for a takedown. Pikonu pushes Hanes against the cage but Hanes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hanes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pikonu moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pikonu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Pikonu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hanes sprawls well initially but Pikonu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Hanes is looking to improve his position.
Hanes really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Pikonu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hanes is looking to control Pikonu's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hanes avoid being mounted?
Pikonu is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hanes is just riding it out for now. Pikonu eventually gives up the hold.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pikonu has hold of Hanes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Hanes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hanes is looking to improve his position but Pikonu isn't that keen on the idea.

Pikonu looking to break Hanes's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Hanes remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Pikonu will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pikonu wants to control but Hanes manages to buck him off and is now in Pikonu's guard! Nice work there by Hanes!
Pikonu has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hanes should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Pikonu has tightened it up now! Hanes should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
