PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Houston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Faber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Faber has chosen 2pac - California Love as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Eric Houston had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 146.1lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faber shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Houston napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Houston is trying to improve his position.
Houston can't do much from the bottom here.

Faber lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Faber shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Houston manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Houston has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Faber escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Faber!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Houston tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Faber wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Faber has an Americana. Houston didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Faber is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Faber hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
