Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shamrock comes to the cage accompanied by Papercut . Brown has chosen Set Your Goals - This Will Be The Death of Us as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Shamrock's head.

It looks like Frank Shamrock has been cut.
Brown tries to clinch but Shamrock moves out of range.

Brown throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Shamrock blocks it with crossed arms.
Shamrock wants to get back to striking at distance but Brown won't allow it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shamrock is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Brown is defending well for now.
Shamrock is breathing heavily.

Brown has Shamrock pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Shamrock is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Brown - that's hurt Shamrock badly! Oh, another knee lands and Shamrock is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Shamrock doesn't seem to be complaining.
