Hardcore Irish has chosen Devil's Dance Floor as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Hardcore Irish connects with the punch.

Rico waves his right hand out infront of him, looking to distract Hardcore Irish. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Hardcore Irish to the canvas! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Amish Hardcore Irish has been cut.

Hardcore Irish wants to stand and escape but Rico is having none of it.
Hardcore Irish keeping moving, preventing Rico from controlling successfully.
Hardcore Irish working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rico.
Rico throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Rico stands and throws Hardcore Irish's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Rico has hold of Hardcore Irish's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Hardcore Irish tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Rico cranks the arm and Hardcore Irish screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hardcore Irish, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
