Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between PeeWee Herman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack van Duck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). PeeWee Herman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman avoids a punch combination nicely.

Herman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in van Duck's half guard.

van Duck has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Herman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

van Duck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Herman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Herman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Herman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Herman wants to control from the top but van Duck keeps moving.

van Duck has his foot on Herman's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Herman works his way back into a safe position though.

van Duck is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Herman is aware though and is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
van Duck looks gassed!

Herman is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Herman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Herman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

van Duck is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Herman frees his head nicely. Oh but van Duck has switched to an armbar! Herman is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
