Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Phoenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Pinto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pinto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Three 6 Mafia featuring Akon & Jim Jones - That's Right kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phoenix moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Pinto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Phoenix fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Phoenix tries for a takedown but Pinto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Phoenix looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pinto!
Pinto tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Phoenix has hold of Pinto's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Pinto manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Phoenix wants to take a breather but Pinto is having none of it.

Phoenix is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Pinto doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Phoenix.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pinto tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Phoenix was well out of range. Poor timing from Pinto.
Pinto throws a leg kick but Phoenix sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Pinto is looking to clinch but Phoenix is avoiding it.
Pinto slaps away a takedown attempt from Phoenix, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Phoenix throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pinto was covering up waiting for the punch and Phoenix finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Pinto has his foot on Phoenix's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Phoenix works his way back into a safe position though.

Phoenix drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Phoenix jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Phoenix is really struggling to control Pinto but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Pinto has managed to clinch.
Phoenix tries to pull guard but Pinto holds him up against the cage and eventually Phoenix drops back down to his feet.

Phoenix has Pinto pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Phoenix pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Pinto tumbling to the mat - Phoenix dives into Pinto's guard.

Pinto has his feet on Phoenix's thighs here. He's pushed Phoenix off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Phoenix screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
