The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Adams keeps the fight on the outside.
Kane wants to clinch up but Adams keeps it at a distance.
Kane tries to clinch there but Adams circles away.
Adams tries to clinch but Kane is having none of it.

and Adams counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Adams.
Adams slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Adams wants to control from the top but Kane keeps moving.
Adams controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Kane looking for a sweep. Not yet Kane, not yet.

Kane has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Adams is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kane.
Kane is trying to get back to half guard.

Adams has hold of Kane's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Kane tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Adams cranks the arm and Kane screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Kane, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
