Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mack Montana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and vegas lights (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Montana kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nowhere Fast - Diane Lane. lights has chosen fight music as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
lights throws a series of punches but Montana avoids them all with ease.
Montana needs to keep his hands up - lights had a free shot at his head there.
vegas lights seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

lights gets caught flat footed, as Montana shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Montana with a flurry of punches that miss.

Montana is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Montana lands a nice short elbow.

Montana is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because lights is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Montana takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

lights is in a horrible position here. Montana smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Montana drops his hands momentarily and lights takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Montana takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Montana has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from lights finds it's way round the side to connect with Montana's head.

Montana stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. lights swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Montana seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Montana wants to lay and pray for a moment but lights keeps working.
Mack Montana overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Montana drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

vegas lights has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Montana sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed lights's guard.
Montana passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for lights!
lights wants to control but Montana is having none of it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Montana, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
