The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Arias tries to keep at a distance but Law has taken the fight into the clinch.
Arias looking to slow down the pace here.
Arias can't break the clinch.
Good body shot from Law.
Law looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Arias pushes Law back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Law has had enough of the clinch but Arias keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Arias's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Law prevents a takedown attempt there.
Law tries to break the clinch but Arias is controlling the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arias fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Arias is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Arias pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Arias fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eric Arias. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Arias shoots in but Law avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Law doesn't manage to clinch there - Arias circles away.
Law throws a left and a right that both miss
and Arias makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Law clinches but Arias breaks the clinch
and Arias counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Law lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Arias backwards.
Arias tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Law blocks a punch to the side of the head.
A left hand lands to the body for Law.
Arias fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Arias wants to break the clinch but can't.
Arias could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Arias is trying to trip Law. He has hold of a leg but Law is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Arias persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Law lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Arias!
Law postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Arias looks a forlorn figure.

It looks like Eric Arias has been cut.
Arias is breathing heavily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Law prevents Arias from getting the reversal.
Law lands a big shot to the head and Arias winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
