Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil McCracken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toomas Ilves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McCracken's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cemetery Gates by Pantera. Ilves is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Military Soviet Hymn. Toomas Ilves will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCracken is looking to clinch.
McCracken fails with an attempt to clinch.
McCracken tries to clinch but Ilves moves out of range.
Ilves looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
McCracken lands with a kick to the ribs.
Ilves keeps the fight on the outside.
McCracken tries to clinch up.
McCracken misses with a double jab.
Ilves shoots in for a double leg but McCracken sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Ilves is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McCracken is looking to clinch.
Ilves looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCracken is fending him off so far but Ilves persists. Nope, McCracken circles away and we're back to standing.
Phil McCracken has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Toomas Ilves.
McCracken throws a combination. Ilves tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Ilves swats away the attempt to clinch by McCracken.
McCracken moves into the clinch.

McCracken gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
McCracken wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ilves looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ilves looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
McCracken stands up and waves to Ilves to follow him.
Ilves shoots in looking for a takedown. McCracken tries to sprawl out of it but Ilves keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCracken manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Phil McCracken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ilves.
Ilves tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but McCracken swivels and escapes.

McCracken tries to clinch up but Ilves circles away and keeps his distance.
Ilves avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
McCracken moves in looking to clinch but Ilves pushes him off.
Ilves shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McCracken as he jumps to the side.
Ilves shoots for a takedown but McCracken saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Ilves shoots in and bounces McCracken off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ilves postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McCracken is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ilves, into his guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
McCracken tries to stand but Ilves is controlling from the bottom.
Ilves is looking for a triangle here but McCracken uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
McCracken in side control lands a decent elbow.
McCracken is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Ilves will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Ilves is trying to control McCracken's posture but McCracken avoids it.
Ilves on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
McCracken tries to stand but Ilves controls the position and pulls McCracken into his guard.
Ilves wants to sweep here but McCracken controlling him for the moment.
McCracken wants to stand but Ilves has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
McCracken is sitting in close to Ilves's body. Ilves has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! McCracken is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, McCracken is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Ilves.
