Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harry Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Malcon McDowell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malcon McDowell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDowell as he jumps to the side.
McDowell misses with a few strikes there.
McDowell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and McDowell wants it to stay on the feet.
Hill will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McDowell fails to pull the fight into his guard.

McDowell gets control of Hill's arms and successfully pulls guard. McDowell will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
McDowell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hill manages to get himself to full guard.

Hill moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Hill. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

McDowell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hill stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hill changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McDowell tries to avoid it but Hill manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McDowell to the ground. McDowell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
