Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vedad Zilic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Savinay Pillay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pillay has chosen Tere Bina as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Savinay Pillay has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zilic fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Pillay throws a series of punches but Zilic moves out of range.
Zilic moves away from the strike by Pillay.

Zilic moves into the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Zilic.
Pillay swings wildly with an uppercut but Zilic uses good head movement to avoid it.
Zilic blocking some punches.
Zilic takes a shot to the head.
Pillay swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Zilic tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Zilic blocking some punches.

Zilic decides to pull guard.
Pillay pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Zilic is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pillay slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Pillay throws a big right hand that misses.

Zilic working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pillay.
Zilic avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Pillay stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zilic swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Zilic has his foot on Pillay's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Pillay works his way back into a safe position though.
Pillay makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pillay accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zilic utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Pillay throws and elbow that misses. Zilic uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pillay's guard. Nice move by Zilic!
Zilic won't allow Pillay to sweep him here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Pillay not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Zilic looking to pass the guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Pillay throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Zilic.
Zilic keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Pillay.
Zilic takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

It looks like Vedad Zilic has been cut.
Zilic shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vedad Zilic. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Zilic is breathing heavily.
Pillay lands with a right that hurts Zilic. Zilic looks to clinch but Pillay throws a short knee that drops Zilic. This one is all over!
