Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Ewing (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ewing's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Joachim Garraud - The Answer (Dabruck & Klein Remix). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Ewing!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brian Scott!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott lands a slapping body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ewing.

Scott drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ewing throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Scott slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Scott postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Scott trying to control but Ewing is working from the bottom.
Scott connects with a couple of short punches.
Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Ewing is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Ewing looking for a sweep. Not yet Ewing, not yet.
Ewing trying to keep a closed guard but Scott is proving a slippery customer.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Ewing drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ewing shoots for a takedown but Scott saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Scott moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Scott moves out of range of the strikes.
Ewing leaves Scott with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Ewing tries to clinch up but Scott circles away and keeps his distance.
Ewing takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Scott avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ewing is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Scott swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Ewing shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ewing showed some decent athleticism there.
Scott moves into full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ewing throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Scott works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Scott controls Ewing momentarily but Ewing frees himself.
Ewing trying to control but Scott is working from the bottom.
Scott looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Ewing looking to pass the guard.
Ewing pushes down on Scott's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Ewing prevents Scott from standing back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
An inside leg kick from Scott misses.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ewing shoots in and drives through. Scott sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Ewing. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ewing misses with a head kick.
Scott circles away from the clinch attempt.
Scott jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Scott slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Scott loads up on a big right hand but Ewing slips the punch.

Scott fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ewing sprawls well initially but Scott persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Ewing wants to get back to full guard.
Ewing is looking to control Scott's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ewing avoid being mounted?
Ewing avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Scott.
Scott thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ewing's head.
Ewing wants to control but Scott is keeping busy.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Scott blocks the strikes from Ewing.
Ewing is concentrating on defense, preventing Scott from advancing position.
Scott tries to pass the half guard into mount. Ewing knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Scott looks gassed!

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Scott takes a swing at Ewing's ribcage but misses.

Scott shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ewing's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Ewing wants to sweep here but Scott controlling him for the moment.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Scott tries to free his leg and advance position but Ewing is retaining full guard.
Ewing looking for a sweep. Not yet Ewing, not yet.
Ewing trying to control the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Brian Scott dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Ewing drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Scott misses with a wild combination.
Ewing lands a nice looking body shot.

Ewing takes the fight into the clinch.
Ewing working aggressively here.

Ewing's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ewing drives through and clinches with Scott against the ropes.
A body shot lands from Ewing.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Ewing.
Scott is breathing heavily.

Ewing manages to break the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Whack! Ewing lands a heavy head kick that drops Scott. The ref tackles Ewing to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Scott was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Bobby Ewing!
