PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cheez Itz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Theodore Arsene Peroche (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Itz might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to do you really want to hurt me. Peroche is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Down with the sickness. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Peroche misses with a two punch combination.

Itz shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Peroche has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Itz is working away from the top position though.
Itz trying to mount his opponent but Peroche defends it.
Itz is looking to take a break and control but Peroche is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Itz passes the guard and advances to mount!
Peroche sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Peroche blocking the ground and pound attempt from Itz.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peroche is controlling Itz's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Itz wants to pass to mount but Peroche is defending the position.

Itz slips a nice elbow through Peroche's hands, connecting with Peroche's forehead.

Itz lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Itz trying to mount his opponent but Peroche defends it.
Peroche wants to control but Itz is keeping busy.
Itz is pressing down on Peroche's thigh, looking to free his foot. Peroche is holding on for now.
Itz moves into full mount! Peroche won't be happy about that!

Peroche is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Itz lands a big shot there that rocks Peroche but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

It looks like Theodore Arsene Peroche has been cut.

Peroche is trying desperately to improve position.

Peroche tries to reverse the position but Itz maintains control.

Itz is landing with some decent strikes but Peroche is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Peroche is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Peroche tries to lock up and control but Itz gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Itz with shots to the head and body - Peroche looks very uncomfortable down there.

That has opened up Theodore Arsene Peroche's cut even more.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Itz landing strikes from the mount and Peroche is in trouble!

Peroche is rocked!

The cut above Theodore Arsene Peroche's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Itz loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Peroche scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Itz land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Itz stands and salutes the crowd.
