Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dmitri Mikhailovich!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Georgio Zarmini!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zarmini closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mikhailovich circles away.
Mikhailovich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mikhailovich throws a quick inside leg kick.

Mikhailovich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zarmini's guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mikhailovich postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Mikhailovich wants to control from the top but Zarmini keeps moving.
Mikhailovich is really struggling to control Zarmini but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Mikhailovich working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Mikhailovich looking to sit in guard and control but Zarmini gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Zarmini thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mikhailovich looking to hit a scissor sweep but Zarmini is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Zarmini has his takedown stuffed

and Mikhailovich counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Mikhailovich landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.


Zarmini is rocked!

Mikhailovich is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mikhailovich connects with a nice short shot to Zarmini's temple.
Zarmini seems to have recovered his senses.
Mikhailovich seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Mikhailovich looks up at the clock and then as Zarmini takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Mikhailovich smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Mikhailovich tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mikhailovich has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Mikhailovich is putting a hurting on Zarmini here, landing some big shots from side control.

Mikhailovich lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Zarmini down.

Mikhailovich is chipping away with strikes.
Mikhailovich connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Zarmini some visible discomfort.

Mikhailovich working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Mikhailovich tries to score with some ground and pound. Zarmini controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Zarmini is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Zarmini takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Mikhailovich is looking to take a break and control but Zarmini is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dmitri Mikhailovich dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Mikhailovich drops Zarmini with a beautiful combination! Zarmini stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mikhailovich is looking for the KO!

and Mikhailovich counters with a big slam. Zarmini looks out but Mikhailovich is landing strikes to his unconscious opponent! Eventually the ref steps in to save Zarmini from any more punishment. A brutal conclusion to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Dmitri Mikhailovich!
