The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holm slips a jab and a cross from Berry.

Holm drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Holm misses with the ground and pound.

Holm feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Holm stands and steps away. Berry gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Berry's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Berry walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Holm checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Holm has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Berry is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Berry has had enough of the clinch but Holm keeps him there for the moment.
A frustrated look appears on Berry's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Berry escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Berry pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Berry rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Holm is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Berry fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Holm checks it well.
Holm chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Berry can pounce on him.
Berry throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Holm jumps guard but Berry stands there with Holm around his waist. Holm gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Berry throws a leg kick which misses Holm's front leg but catches the back leg as Holm tries to avoid it.
