Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Fred Boyle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Daley!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, William Gold and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daley tries to clinch there but Boyle circles away.
Boyle shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Daley defends it nicely.
Daley will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Boyle decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daley looks like he's trying to stand up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daley can do anything to dispel that myth.
Boyle wants to take a breather but Daley is having none of it.
Daley is looking to escape.

Boyle is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Daley sees it coming and defends easily.

Boyle looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Boyle with the ground and pound but Daley uses the opportunity to regain guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boyle chips away with some ground and pound.
Daley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Boyle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Daley keeping full guard, as Boyle tries to pass.
Daley keeping moving, preventing Boyle from controlling successfully.
Boyle works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Boyle wants to take a breather but Daley is having none of it.

Boyle is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Boyle is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Daley has managed to free his arm - good work.
Daley tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Boyle manages to move to mount!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Boyle goes for an armbar but Daley turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Daley.
Daley wants to get up but he can't break Boyle's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Boyle looking to control.

Daley decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Boyle, up you get!

Boyle closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Boyle is breathing heavily.

Boyle has hold of Daley's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Daley seems comfortable defending it but Boyle has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Daley is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Daley is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Boyle couldn't care less - he's delighted!
