Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chinzo Toyo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vera is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Weightless by All Time Low. Joey Vera has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Chinzo Toyo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Toyo misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vera throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Toyo's waist but Toyo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vera off to one side.
Vera misses with a head kick.
Toyo looks to land a left hand but Vera moved out of range nicely.
Toyo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vera moves away.

Vera bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Vera misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Toyo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vera on the ground.

Vera is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Toyo has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Toyo!

Vera escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Toyo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Toyo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Toyo lands a hook that stumbles Vera back into the cage. Toyo follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Vera to the canvas! Toyo pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Vera has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
