Roman has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Ungowa regains guard immediately.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Roman has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

Roman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ungowa is looking to escape.
Ungowa tries to reverse the position but Roman maintains control.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Jamal Ungowa will probably get the nod.

Ungowa connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Roman tumbling to the canvas! Ungowa pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Roman was done - good stoppage!
