Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timo I Eat Iron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Samsonov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I Eat Iron comes to the cage accompanied by Black Sabbath - Ironman. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from I Eat Iron.
A head kick misses from I Eat Iron.

Timo I Eat Iron seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Samsonov throws a head kick that misses
and I Eat Iron counters with an inside leg kick.
Samsonov doesn't succeed with the takedown

and I Eat Iron counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

I Eat Iron postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Samsonov to stand up.
Samsonov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and I Eat Iron counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
I Eat Iron wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Samsonov has him pressed against the cage.
Samsonov has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. I Eat Iron is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

I Eat Iron works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Samsonov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Samsonov controls I Eat Iron momentarily but I Eat Iron frees himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
I Eat Iron cracks Samsonov with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Samsonov has his foot on I Eat Iron's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. I Eat Iron works his way back into a safe position though.

I Eat Iron gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
I Eat Iron throws a low kick, looking for Samsonov's leg but Samsonov calmly moves out of range.

I Eat Iron clinches.
I Eat Iron lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Samsonov or not.

I Eat Iron breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

I Eat Iron decides to pull guard.

Samsonov makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

I Eat Iron kicks Samsonov off and gets to his feet.
I Eat Iron throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

I Eat Iron has closed the distance and engaged Samsonov in a clinch.
I Eat Iron lands a nice uppercut.

I Eat Iron has picked Samsonov up - he's going for a ride! I Eat Iron dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
I Eat Iron is taking a breather. Samsonov says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
I Eat Iron is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Samsonov!
I Eat Iron lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

I Eat Iron is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Samsonov is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Samsonov flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. I Eat Iron anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Samsonov and secures both hooks! This could be bad! I Eat Iron slips an arm under Samsonov chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. I Eat Iron has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. I Eat Iron is squeezing on Samsonov like an anaconda would it's prey. Samsonov fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
