The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Patterson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Patterson showed some decent athleticism there.

Patterson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Heilimo sees it coming and defends easily.

Heilimo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Patterson swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Heilimo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Heilimo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Patterson has his feet on Heilimo's thighs here. He's pushed Heilimo off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Heilimo screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
