Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Dostoevsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins has chosen Hungry Like The Wolf as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dostoevsky throws a low kick but it's checked well by Jenkins.
Dostoevsky fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Jenkins stuns Dostoevsky with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jim Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dostoevsky slips under a jab.
Jenkins with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Jenkins lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dostoevsky backs up against the ropes.
Jenkins closes the distance and lands a one-two.


It looks like Fedor Dostoevsky has been cut.
Dostoevsky misses with the combination.
Jenkins throws a hook but Dostoevsky blocks it.
Jenkins scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Jenkins lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jenkins misses with a two punch combination.

Jim Jenkins is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jenkins throws out a loose jab but Dostoevsky uses good head movement to avoid it.
Jenkins throws a good cross that connects.
Dostoevsky moves forwards but Jenkins connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Dostoevsky steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jenkins.
Jenkins swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

so Dostoevsky counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Dostoevsky prevents Jenkins from getting back to his feet.
Jenkins keeping moving, preventing Dostoevsky from controlling successfully.

Dostoevsky got a little sloppy there for a moment and Jenkins has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dostoevsky has managed to get both his arms back between Jenkins's legs - danger averted.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Jenkins trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Dostoevsky trying to control the position from guard on top but Jenkins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Jenkins has an active guard here but Dostoevsky has managed to pass into half guard.

Dostoevsky stops Jenkins from getting back to his feet.
Jenkins misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Jenkins is looking to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Jenkins lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Dostoevsky circles away quickly and effectively.
Dostoevsky throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jenkins.
Jenkins feints and then cracks Dostoevsky's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Dostoevsky down.

Dostoevsky throws the kick towards the body but Jenkins avoids it.

Dostoevsky scores with a takedown into Jenkins's guard.

Dostoevsky postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jenkins is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Jenkins looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Dostoevsky passes into side control.
Dostoevsky advances to mount.
The referee warns Jenkins that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Jenkins is squirming around, avoiding Dostoevsky's attempts to control the action.

Jenkins holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Dostoevsky tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Dostoevsky is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Jenkins can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Dostoevsky can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jenkins is looking to escape.
Dostoevsky lands a big shot there that rocks Jenkins but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

It looks like Jim Jenkins has been cut.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Dostoevsky throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.

Dostoevsky looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Jenkins flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Fedor Dostoevsky will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Dostoevsky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Dostoevsky on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Dostoevsky lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jenkins circles away quickly and effectively.
Jenkins tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Jenkins throws a right hand that Dostoevsky ducks under and follows up with a left that Dostoevsky also avoids with ease.
Jenkins throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dostoevsky.
Dostoevsky slips a jab and a cross from Jenkins.

Jenkins swings for the body but Dostoevsky moves out of range.

Jenkins lands a nice hook to Dostoevsky's body. Dostoevsky takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Jenkins tries to score with a low kick but Dostoevsky moves his leg out of the way.

Jenkins's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dostoevsky looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jenkins swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Dostoevsky takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Jenkins connects with a nice looking jab.
Jenkins lands with a hook. Dostoevsky tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jenkins lands a nice shot that snaps Dostoevsky's head back.
Jab, jab by Jenkins - just one landing.
Dostoevsky takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.


Fedor Dostoevsky's cut is getting worse.
Jenkins scores with a one two! Dostoevsky had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jenkins keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Dostoevsky takes a head kick and shrugs it off.


Dostoevsky is rocked!
Jenkins scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dostoevsky takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jenkins goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.


Fedor Dostoevsky's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Jenkins throws a one two combo.
Oh Dostoevsky is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jim Jenkins seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Jenkins jabs Dostoevsky right on the nose. Dostoevsky blinks but takes it well.
Jenkins moves into range and connects with a jab.
Dostoevsky moves forwards but Jenkins connects with a nice, crisp jab.


Jeez, Fedor Dostoevsky's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

Jenkins connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Dostoevsky! He's out on his feet! Jenkins rushes in and drops Dostoevsky with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
