Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kapital Punishment (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Goldberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goldberg comes into a darkened arena with his song building. GOLDBERG kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Punishment on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Kapital Punishment has been cut.
Punishment shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Goldberg defends it nicely.
Goldberg rushes Punishment and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Punishment fails to pull guard.
Goldberg's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Punishment lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Bill Goldberg has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Punishment misses the shot to the body.
Punishment tries to bum rush Goldberg with a series of wild strikes but Goldberg uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Punishment had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Goldberg is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Punishment Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Goldberg's back instead.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Punishment has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Goldberg really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Punishment's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Punishment doesn't have the hooks in and Goldberg manages to turn into his guard.
Punishment working for a triangle but Goldberg defends it easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Kapital Punishment will probably get the nod.

Goldberg shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Punishment manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bill Goldberg just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
