Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Yankowy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yankowy has chosen Just Can't Hate Enough as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Yankowy!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Fisher.
Fisher misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Yankowy fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yankowy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Yankowy closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yankowy is working for a submission of some sort.
Fisher tries to get to full guard but Yankowy has control of the leg.
Fisher is trying to maintain the position but Yankowy is very close to passing his half guard.
Yankowy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fisher is just riding it out for now. Yankowy eventually gives up the hold.
Fisher is trying to stand up here but Yankowy is controlling him well.

Yankowy is working for a kimura but Fisher is defending it quite comfortably.
Yankowy is working for a submission of some sort.
Fisher is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Fisher knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yankowy on the ground.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Yankowy has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fisher defend it? Yankowy steps over the head and cranks it - Fisher is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Yankowy!
