Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Livingston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jerry Lewis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Floyd Livingston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jerry Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Livingston lands a head shot.
Lewis swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Livingston bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters circling - Lewis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Livingston slips a jab from Lewis.
Lewis walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Livingston checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Livingston slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Lewis throws a hook but Livingston avoids it easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Nice straight punches there by Livingston. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Livingston.
A combination from Livingston does no damage.
Livingston moves out of range of the strikes.
Lewis throws the left hand but Livingston avoids the punch easily.
Livingston slips under a jab from Lewis.
Lewis throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lewis throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Livingston sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Livingston scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Lewis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Livingston is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lewis missing with a left hand there. Livingston was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Livingston misses with an uppercut. Lewis saw that one coming.
Livingston cracks Lewis with an open hand slap.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Lewis throws a hook to the side of Livingston's head but Livingston sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lewis looks to land a left hand but Livingston moved out of range nicely.

Livingston throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lewis was covering up waiting for the punch and Livingston finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Livingston drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Livingston jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Livingston trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lewis wants to get back to his feet but Livingston is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Livingston trying to control the position from guard on top but Lewis is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Lewis throws a right hand that Livingston ducks under and follows up with a left that Livingston also avoids with ease.
Lewis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Livingston circles away quickly and effectively.
Lewis throws a shot from downtown. Livingston moves away and avoids it.
Lewis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Livingston is defended easily by Lewis.

Lewis looks to land a left hand but Livingston moved out of range nicely.
Lewis is breathing heavily.
Livingston comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Lewis might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Lewis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Livingston fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Lewis throws a series of punches but Livingston avoids them all with ease.
Lewis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Livingston manages to avoid it.
Lewis avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Lewis throws a nice looking combination but Livingston bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Livingston feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Livingston sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lewis's guard.
Livingston passes to side control.

Livingston has hold of Lewis's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lewis seems comfortable defending it but Livingston has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lewis is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lewis is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Livingston couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Floyd Livingston!
