The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crews takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Crews is looking to clinch but Nelson is avoiding it.
Nelson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crews doesn't manage to clinch there - Nelson circles away.
Nelson fails to land with a series of punches.
Nelson throws a wild body kick that Crews sees coming a mile off.
Crews dodges the punch combination from Nelson.

Nelson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Crews not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nelson wants to stand but Crews is controlling his posture from full guard.

Nelson wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of Crews's closed guard. He's half up but Crews has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! Crews pivots and extends the arm, Nelson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Crews! Well done that man!
