The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bailey shoots in for a double leg but McDonald sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ronald McDonald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McDonald doesn't manage to clinch there - Bailey circles away.

Bailey is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McDonald goes for a takedown attempt but Bailey pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Bailey has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McDonald clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bailey gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bailey apologises and we restart here on the feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

McDonald fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bailey, pushing him back against the cage.
