Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hjalmar Siilasvuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pate Puska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pate Puska has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Puska gets the takedown into side control.

Siilasvuo stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Siilasvuo wants it to stay on the feet.
Puska closes the distance and clinches up with Siilasvuo, looking for a takedown. Puska pushes Siilasvuo against the cage but Siilasvuo circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Siilasvuo gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Siilasvuo apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Siilasvuo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Puska has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Siilasvuo has managed to get both his arms back between Puska's legs - danger averted.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Hjalmar Siilasvuo.
