The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

It looks like Abraham Mannerd has been cut.
Capelli King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Mannerd tries to clinch but King is having none of it.
King lunges at Mannerd with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Mannerd's hand.

King throws a jab when Mannerd was well out of range.

King forces Mannerd back against the cage and clinches.

Mannerd drops down looking for an ankle pick but King pulls his leg out and moves away.
King throws a quick inside leg kick.

King gets in close and instigates a clinch.

King lands an elbow that stopped Mannerd in his tracks for a moment.

King breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
King turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mannerd moves away from the strike by King.
King lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
King scores with a hook to the body. Mannerd takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

King pushes Mannerd up against the cage in a clinch.
King gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
King connects with a knee to the head.

Abraham Mannerd's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
King creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Mannerd's defenses.
King lands a left hand that snaps the head of Mannerd backwards.

Mannerd is rocked!

Jeez, Abraham Mannerd's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
King lands a big knee! That's hurt Mannerd! Oh, he's all over the place! King lands another knee that sends Mannerd to the floor and the referee steps in to end the fight!
