The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hell tries to close the distance and clinch but Vieri swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vieri as he jumps to the side.
Vieri tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Hell decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vieri's guard.
Vieri doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Hell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Vieri escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Vieri controls Hell momentarily but Hell frees himself.

Hell stands up and waves to Vieri to follow him.

Hell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vieri but Vieri pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hell got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vieri has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hell has managed to get both his arms back between Vieri's legs - danger averted.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vieri wants to sweep but no luck.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hell connects with a nice short shot to Vieri's temple.

Hell is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Vieri has managed to free his arm - good work.
Hell working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hell perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

and Hell counters with a low kick, right behind Vieri 's knee.
Hell throws a right hand that Vieri ducks under and follows up with a left that Vieri also avoids with ease.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Hell throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vieri was covering up waiting for the punch and Hell finishes the takedown easily into guard.
