The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hansson throws a nice looking combination but Coleman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Coleman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hansson tries to avoid it but Coleman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hansson to the ground. Hansson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Coleman lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Coleman shoots in looking for a takedown. Hansson tries to sprawl out of it but Coleman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hansson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ronny Coleman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hansson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Coleman circles away quickly and effectively.

Coleman has picked Hansson up - he's going for a ride! Coleman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Coleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hansson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
