Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shannon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aamu Hannu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aamu Hannu is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hannu feints and as Taylor raises his hands in defense, Hannu changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taylor looking for a guillotine here but Hannu defends easily.
Taylor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hannu gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hannu is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Hannu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hannu darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Taylor looking for submissions off his back.
Taylor is breathing heavily.
Hannu is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Taylor sees it coming and defends easily.
Taylor wants to control but Hannu is keeping busy.

Taylor throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Hannu is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Taylor has managed to free his arm - good work.
Hannu is looking for a kimura but Taylor is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hannu to get the leverage.
Taylor works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hannu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hannu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Hannu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Taylor will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Taylor throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Hannu escapes and throws Taylor's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Hannu cracks Taylor with a big elbow.
Hannu works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Hannu lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Taylor down.

Hannu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Hannu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Taylor tries to buck Hannu off but Hannu is having none of it.

Hannu passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Taylor!

Taylor tries to reverse the position but Hannu maintains control.

Hannu has control of Taylor's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Taylor regains control of the situation pretty easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hannu pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hannu prevents Taylor from getting the reversal.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Taylor manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Hannu is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hannu landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aamu Hannu dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Taylor is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hannu drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Taylor sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hannu winds up and cracks Taylor with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Taylor is trying to control but can't.
Hannu seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Taylor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Taylor actively working from the bottom here.
Hannu is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Taylor is looking for a sweep. Hannu is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Taylor trying to get back to full guard but Hannu takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Hannu manages to capitalize on a mistake by Taylor to take his back!

Hannu scores with punches and elbows.
Hannu gets his hands free as Taylor looks to control.
Hannu working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Taylor is doing well to defend. Hannu seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Taylor is forced to tap and this one is over!
