Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dazuo Kiiti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lucias Verenus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verenus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kiiti as he jumps to the side.

Verenus bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Kiiti is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Kiiti is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Verenus off and has taken his back!

Kiiti is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Verenus defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Kiiti is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Verenus is defending well though. Kiiti let's go of the attempt for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Verenus is desperately trying to improve his position but Kiiti has a good base and remains in mount.

Verenus is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Kiiti's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Verenus has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Kiiti should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Verenus has tightened it up now! Kiiti should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
