The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mahoney missing with a left hand there. Simons III was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Mahoney looks to land a combination but Simons III avoids it well.

Simons III feints and as Mahoney raises his hands in defense, Simons III changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
