PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hulk Smasher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Per Moller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Moller's choice of entrance music: Kosmisk Kaos. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Alan Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Moller has taken the fight to the clinch.

Moller manages to break the clinch.
Smasher could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Moller punishes Smasher's body with a nice straight punch.
Smasher avoids a punch combination nicely.

Smasher clinches with his opponent.
Moller using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Smasher has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Smasher wants to get back to striking at distance but Moller won't allow it.
Moller has Smasher pressed against the cage, preventing Smasher from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Moller creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Smasher avoids the elbow strike from Moller, against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Moller.
Moller fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Smasher is looking to break free of the clinch but Moller has double underhooks.
Moller tries a knee to the head but Smasher blocks it.
Smasher avoids a wild elbow strike from Moller.
Moller looking for a takedown.
Moller tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Smasher avoids it.
Smasher is trying to break the clinch but Moller is controlling him.
Smasher is trying to break the clinch but Moller has him pressed against the cage.
Moller with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Moller lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Smasher avoids a wild elbow strike from Moller.

Moller pulls Smasher into guard.
Moller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Moller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Smasher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Smasher wants to stand but Moller is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Smasher manages to get himself to full guard.
Moller postures up in Smasher's guard and throws a big left but Smasher blocks it.
Moller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smasher works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Moller throws and elbow that misses. Smasher uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moller's guard. Nice move by Smasher!

Smasher has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Moller to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Smasher is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Moller pulls down on the head and he's put Smasher to sleep! This one is all over!
