The crowd seem to be enjoying Faheem's choice of entrance music: Tunak Tunak Tun. John Wiggs could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Amir Faheem's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Faheem shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Faheem motions for Wiggs to come forward. Faheem throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Faheem feints and then cracks Wiggs's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wiggs down.
Wiggs lands a nice shot that snaps Faheem's head back.
John Wiggs is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Faheem takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Faheem tries for a takedown but Wiggs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Faheem is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Wiggs to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that John Wiggs will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wiggs's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice uppercut lands for Wiggs. That snapped Faheem's head back.
Wiggs comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
John Wiggs is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Wiggs does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Faheem shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Wiggs bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Faheem's guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Faheem holds on and takes a little breather.

Faheem had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Wiggs is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Faheem Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Wiggs's back instead.

Faheem shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wiggs but Wiggs pushes him off and we're back to square one.
