Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Max Payne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kegan Odhran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Payne might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Adema- everyone . The crowd seem to be enjoying Odhran's choice of entrance music: The Cranberries - Zombie. Kegan Odhran has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Payne closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Odhran did well to prevent Payne getting side control.

Payne is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Odhran doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Payne.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Odhran fails with the takedown
and Payne counters with a nice uppercut.

Payne throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Odhran was covering up waiting for the punch and Payne finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Payne is working Odhran over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Odhran working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Payne doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Odhran is tightening it up a little... Payne has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Payne reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Payne taps out! nice BJJ there by Odhran!
