Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tauno Palo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Rose's choice of entrance music: Another One Bites The Dust. Tauno Palo could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Johnny Rose's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palo looks for the body kick but Rose saw that one coming.
Rose throws a nice looking combination but Palo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Palo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rose dodges the punch combination from Palo.
Rose lands with a nice combination. Palo backs away looking to recover.
Palo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rose tests Palo's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Palo throws a right hand that Rose ducks under and follows up with a left that Rose also avoids with ease.

Rose throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tauno Palo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palo tries to clinch there but Rose circles away.

Rose stalks Palo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Palo's face. Palo staggers backwards, shaken.
Palo scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Palo wants to clinch but Rose slips to the side
and Rose counters with a lovely straight right hand!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Palo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rose moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rose misses with a wild combination.
Palo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Palo checks a leg kick.
Rose swinging wilding here.
Palo gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Palo throws a punch but it's blocked by Rose.
Palo tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Rose breaks the clinch.

and Rose counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rose moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Palo is looking to chop away at Rose's legs.
Rose throws a series of punches but Palo moves out of range.
Rose ducks under a wild hook from Palo.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Tauno Palo will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Palo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Palo takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Palo tries to land a leg kick but Rose saw it coming and moves away.

Palo darts in trying to clinch
and Rose counters with a series of strikes. Palo will be more careful next time no doubt.
Rose looks to land a combination. Palo sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Palo is rocked!
Rose takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Oh Palo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Palo closes the distance looking to clinch
and Rose scores with a counter punch that sends Palo to the canvas! Rose smells blood - he's punishing Palo with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Palo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Johnny Rose!
