Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kato Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Mc Auley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mc Auley comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Heaven and Hell kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mc Auley drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Brian Mc Auley has been cut.
Brian Mc Auley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Hanzo.
Hanzo is chipping away with strikes.
Mc Auley tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
Mc Auley breaks Hanzo's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Mc Auley won't allow Hanzo to get back to his feet.

Mc Auley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hanzo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Hanzo thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mc Auley's head.

Hanzo loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Mc Auley scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hanzo land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hanzo stands and salutes the crowd.
