The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sudo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ronbo but Ronbo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Sudo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ronbo sprawls well. Ronbo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sudo gets slowly back to his feet.

Ronbo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Sudo is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ronbo pulls his head out easily.
Sudo wants to get back to full guard but Ronbo has passed into side control.

Ronbo with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Sudo is trying desperately to improve position.
Sudo tries to lock up and control but Ronbo gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Sudo tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Ronbo pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Ronbo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Sudo is wriggling around trying to escape.
Ronbo lands a big shot to the head and Sudo winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
