Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ylusses Tramp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glen Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Glen Coleman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glen Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman throws a body punch but Tramp moves out of range.
Tramp gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Coleman.

Tramp clinches up against the cage.
Tramp missing with knees to the body.

Tramp tightens his grip and picks Coleman up, before dumping him to the ground. Coleman manages to land in guard.
Tramp is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Tramp stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Tramp walks into a stiff left hand from Coleman.
Coleman lands a nice looking body shot.
Coleman scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tramp.

Tramp fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coleman sprawls well initially but Tramp persists and gets the takedown into half guard.


Coleman is rocked!

Coleman seems to have recovered his senses.
Coleman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Coleman is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tramp pulls his head out easily.
Coleman is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tramp scores with a couple of nice shots.
Tramp perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tramp seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Coleman for as long as he can get away with.

Tramp looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Tramp tries to pass the half guard into mount. Coleman knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Coleman has a hand on Tramp's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Tramp takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Tramp wants to finish this one by submission but Coleman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Tramp.
Coleman tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Coleman is trying to stand.
Tramp controlling the position easily from mount.
Tramp is breathing heavily.
Coleman tries to hold on but Tramp postures up.
Tramp takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Coleman bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Coleman wants to control from the top but Tramp keeps moving.
Coleman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Tramp wants to sweep here but Coleman controlling him for the moment.

Coleman wants to stand and escape but instead Tramp has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Coleman bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tramp's guard.

so Tramp counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Coleman has his foot on Tramp's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tramp works his way back into a safe position though.
Coleman is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Tramp pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Coleman is looking to improve his position but Tramp isn't that keen on the idea.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Coleman is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Tramp gets his way!
