Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Pierre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lesnar has chosen Here comes the Pain as his entrance music. David Pierre has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pierre, right into the meat.
Pierre is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Pierre fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pierre connects with a solid leg kick.
Pierre lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lesnar circles away quickly and effectively.

Lesnar closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Good leg kick by Pierre there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Lesnar closes the distance and clinches up with Pierre, looking for a takedown. Lesnar pushes Pierre against the cage but Pierre circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
David Pierre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Lesnar.

and Pierre counters with a body kick that stops Lesnar in his tracks momentarily.
Lesnar tries to close the distance and clinch but Pierre swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pierre throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lesnar.

A chopping leg kick lands by Pierre.
Pierre feints and then cracks Lesnar's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lesnar down.
Pierre throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pierre lands a head kick!
Lesnar is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Pierre.
Pierre moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Lesnar takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Lesnar feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lesnar won't allow Pierre to get back to his feet.

Lesnar is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pierre is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pierre has escaped and now he's on top!

and Pierre makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Pierre dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Lesnar stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pierre swivels though and keeps the full guard.

A head kick misses from Pierre.
Lesnar shoots for a double leg takedown but Pierre sprawls well. He's pushed Lesnar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Pierre is looking to wear down Lesnar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Lesnar sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Lesnar's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Pierre.

Lesnar shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Lesnar swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pierre is now in Lesnar's guard. A big mistake from Lesnar there, giving up the dominant position!
Pierre wants to stand but Lesnar has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Lesnar had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pierre is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lesnar Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pierre's back instead.
