Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dustin Chestnut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chance Walters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chestnut feints and as Walters raises his hands in defense, Chestnut changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Chestnut controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Chestnut trying to control but Walters is working from the bottom.
Chestnut seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Walters has control of Chestnut's left arm, preventing Chestnut from doing any damage.
Walters wants to control but Chestnut passes easily into half guard.
It looks like Chestnut is going to stand back up.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but I would say that Dustin Chestnut will probably get the nod.

Chestnut changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Walters looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
